Customize your signing processes

With our API you can customize your signing processes and adapt it to your company's look & feel.

Give the signing app your own personal touch and change the way you communicate via email with all the parties involved during the signing process.

Create a branding using Signaturit API:

By creating your own branding you can modify the following features:

application_texts[sign_button]: Modify the "Sign" button that appears when using the free mode. This mode is available when you send via email a document to be signed.

application_texts[send_button]: Modify the "Send Document" text.

application_texts[photo]: Modify the text on the upper bar that asks for photo validation.

application_texts[voice]: Modify the text on the upper bar that asks for voice validation

application_texts[multi_page]:Modify the text on the upper bar that tells the signer the pages where they have to sign. This option appears also on free mode when you send a document to be signed via email and request the signature in several pages.

application_texts[terms_and_conditions]: Add a customized text to the terms and conditions. This text will appear after Signaturit's terms and conditions, which can't be modified.

layout_color: Customize the color of the signature application. The color must be put in HTML with the #.

logo: The image of your logo must be encoded in base64 and will appear in your email notifications.

signature_color: Choose between black or blue to apply the color of the signature. Blue is more accepted in traditional organizations, but both color are equally legal and valid.

text_color: Change the color of the text in the signature application. The color must be put in HTML with the #.

Templates[mail_type]: Modify Signaturit's email templates. There are up to 6 types of email templates that you can modify and adapt to your branding. Find the detailed instructions below.

show_register_page: Show or hide the registration screen that appears when the signing process ends.

show_survey_page: Show or hide the survey page that appears when the signing process ends.

Create an email template:

Use the parameter "templates" and specify the type of email that you wish to create. Follow this example:

Templates[signatures_request]:<html>Email in HTML</html>

Important: Do not confuse the parameter "templates" on branding with the parameter "templates" when sending a signature request. The first one is to modify the email templates use in the communication and the second one is to send a document template.

  • signatures_request

Signature request is the first email that the signer receives. This email contains a link to the document to be signed. It's mandatory to use the magic word "sign_button" so that the signer can open and sign the document.

  • signatures_receipt

When the signing process ends, the user receives an email with the signed document and the audit trail attached.

  • request_expired

The signer receives this email when a document has not been completed and it expires.

  • pending_sign

This emails is sent when a reminder has been sent. Like in "signatures_request", the magic word "sign_button" is mandatory.

  • document_canceled

Let the signer knows that the signing process has been cancelled.

  • emails_request

Email triggered in the certified communications.

An email template must be created in HTML. This is an example of a template for a "signature request" email created in HTML

<html><head> <title>Signature request test</title> <meta charset='utf-8'></head><body style='color: #404040; -webkit-text-size-adjust: none; width: 100%; height: 100%; background-color: #f6f6f6;'> <table align='center' cellpadding='5'> <tbody> <tr> <td align='center'> <table align='center' border='0' style='margin:auto;'> <tbody> <tr> <td></td></tr></tbody> </table> <table border='0' cellpadding='20' bgcolor='#ffffff' style='margin: 10px auto 0 !important; position: relative; max-width: 600px!important; background-color: #ffffff; border: 1px solid #dbdbdb;'> <tbody> <tr> <td class='note' border='0' bgcolor='#ffffff' style='display: block!important; background-color: #ffffff; max-width: 600px!important;clear: both!important; border-radius: 2px;'> <table border='0' bgcolor='#ffffff' style='background-color: #ffffff;'> <tbody> <tr> <td style='font-family: Helvetica; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 1px solid #dbdbdb;width: 100%; padding-bottom: 12px; font-size: 15px; line-height: 18px; color: #444444'> <strong></strong> (%email%) has sent you a document to sign, and wrote this: </td></tr><tr> <td style='font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; text-align: left; padding: 12px 0; border-bottom: 1px solid #dbdbdb; color: #444'> ADD CUSTOM TEXT HERE 2 </td></tr><tr> <td> <table align='center' border='0' width='220' style='margin:auto; text-align:center; height: 50px; width: 220; background-color: #e2e2e2; border: 0; border-radius: 40px; margin-top: 12px;'> <tbody> <tr> <td></td></tr></tbody> </table> </td></tr></tbody> </table> </td></tr></tbody> </table> </td></tr><tr> <td align='center'> <table bgcolor='#75BF69' cellpadding='15' style='background-color: #75BF69; background-color: rgba(117, 191, 105, 0.36); max-width: 600px!important;'> <tbody> <tr> <td style='max-width: 600px!important;'> <table style='font-family: Helvetica;font-size: 13px;max-width: 600px!important;'> <tbody> <tr> <td style='font-family: Helvetica; color:#ffffff; color: rgba(117, 191, 105, 1);'><strong>Quick reminder</strong>: when you click on the button below, we'll ask your Location. This information is used to improve the evidences generated during the signing process and recorded in the audit trail.</td></tr></tbody> </table> </td></tr></tbody> </table> </td></tr></tbody> </table></body></html>

{{sender_email}}: Tag replaced by the sender's email.

{{sign_button}}: Tag replaced by the "Send document" button.

{{signer_name}}: Tag replaced by the signer's name.

{{signer_email}}: Tag replaced by the signer's email.

{{filename}}: Tag replaced by the file's name.

Send a document to be signed using your new branding:

The moment you create a new branding using the parameters explained below, you'll receive a branding_id. This ID will be linked to that specific branding. Assuming you have more than one branding, you'll need to specify the branding that you wish to use for a specific request. If you don't use this parameter, the newest branding will be the one used as default.

recipients[0][name]:John Doe
recipients[0][email]:john.doe@admin.com
files[0]:test.pdf
branding_id:Branding_code
