As you know, once a document is signed electronically, it can no longer be altered.
However, when sending a document for signature, you can specify the signature’s location. This option is available across all our signature channels.
For each signatory, there are three ways to set the signature’s position:
- By coordinates: Specify the signature’s exact location using horizontal (POSX) and vertical (POSY) measurements in millimeters. For example, on an A4 page, the dimensions are 210 mm by 297 mm.
- By anchor: Use the ANCHOR function to place the signature based on a specific text in the document. It’s recommended that this text be the same color as the page background to remain invisible since the signature box background is transparent.
- Using the PDF Signature Field.
