To sign offline with VIDsigner BIO, there are two possible methods:
- The documents are sent to VIDsigner and then signed on the device while offline.
- The documents are sent for signing through an App2App integration, where the signer signs the document, and the signed data is then sent back to VIDsigner.
Below is the process for the first case; for the second one, read the article Send and sign documents from the same device (available for Android, iOS, and Windows):
- Load the documents to be signed onto the device beforehand.
- Once the documents are sent to the tablet, activate offline mode on the device.
- Then, from the document list, you can enable synchronization to download the documents locally. When this process is active, your documents will appear in the “Pending” tab.
- Signed documents will be saved locally, and you can check their status in the “Processed” tab.
-
To use the VIDsigner app, keep in mind that the Wacom stylus synchronizes during the signing process, so you must first send a document to sign in order to pair the device.
Once the document is ready for signing, if the stylus doesn’t work, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The stylus battery is empty: Charge the device and try again.
-
The stylus has lost its configuration: In the signature box, follow these steps:
- Click the Info button.
- Select “Set pen in link mode.”
- Once the stylus is synchronized with the tablet, users can proceed to sign the document.
- When an Internet connection is available again, simply synchronize the device so the signed documents are uploaded and the process is completed.
